Columbia University Ranking

The Columbia University ranking in the GPA system is Top 50 / Tier 2.

Columbia University, located in New York city, enjoys great global name recognition. This is due in part to its location in New York, high level of funding, and famous graduates such as President Barack Obama. It has outstanding medical and legal schools which contribute to the institution’s overall importance.

As of 2016, its web presence is surprisingly underwhelming but without immediate threat to affect its Top 50 status. It is expected that Columbia will remedy this situation in the near future (compare www.columbia.edu and www.jhu.edu or www.cornell.edu for example).
