Seoul National University Ranking

The Seoul National University ranking in the GPA system is Top 50 / Tier 3.

Known as “Seouldae” (rather than SNU), Seoul National University is one of the 3 leading universities in South Korea and arguably the most prestigious. It is not to  be confused with the University of Seoul. Even though it is extremely globalized in terms of global partnerships, its name recognition is limited outside Asia and indeed outside South Korea, due to long-standing competition between South Korea, China and Japan. In spite of high ranking with other algorithms, it is only considered a GPA Tier 3 due to its limited name recognition, global image and for being, as the name indicates, a “national” university.
