United Nations University Ranking 2017

The United Nations University ranking in the GPA system is Top 50 / Tier 3.

As a degree granting institution, UNU is new and only began conferring degrees in 2011. In terms of visibility on the GPA scale, UNU has very unique advantages that explain its presence among the Top 50 / Tier 3: its is fully affiliated with the United Nations, a fact which gives UNU immediate name recognition and credibility. It is highly internationalized and delivers global results to its graduates. Its main office-campus is located in Tokyo, Japan.

It is the only university authorized to use the United Nations logo (along with the University of Peace, Costa Rica). It also has good Internet visibility, in part because its websites are linked from the authoritative United Nations URLs.
